Barenbrug's Drupal Multisite Transformation

Barenbrug, a global leader in grass seed research, needed a modern digital platform to unify its international web presence. Their previous setup lacked consistency, scalability, and content governance, causing fragmented user experiences. Youwe designed a Drupal multisite solution with a shared codebase, enabling regional teams to manage content in their own language while maintaining a unified global brand. Each country operates its own website with localized domains and assets, yet all are powered by a single codebase for streamlined management. The platform ensures editorial independence while preserving brand consistency across regions. The implementation includes localized databases, asset libraries, and user roles, allowing content managers to control their local site without compromising the global foundation. All websites follow a standardized component and content type model, ensuring consistent design and content across regions, regardless of language.
