This case study highlights the creation of War Wound, an audio story about the doctors' resistance during World War II. Nationaal Monument Kamp Amersfoort used this podcast to make a complex historical narrative accessible to a wider audience. The project successfully bridged gaps in understanding the resistance movement, which was previously underexplored. The podcast features expert interviews and includes 211 identified doctor names and five relay messages, offering a unique perspective on the resistance. The result was a more engaging and educational platform for the public to learn about this pivotal chapter in Dutch history. The project also showcased the power of storytelling in preserving and sharing historical facts, demonstrating how audio content can effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
