Accessibility Transformation at CCV Payments: From Awareness to Practical Implementation
CCV Payments aimed to make digital payments accessible to all, from checkout pages to pin terminals. The organization initiated an interactive awareness session for its international, hybrid team, focusing on WCAG standards and accessibility legislation. Through a localized accessibility sprint, design and development teams collaborated to implement inclusive features. The session included practical training on visual accessibility, structured layouts, and WCAG-compliant coding. The result was a fully accessible checkout page and new insights into a new theme. The project emphasized learning through direct interaction, fostering a culture of accessibility awareness and measurable impact. The initiative led to the creation of accessible concepts for pin terminals, ready for testing with real users, while also boosting internal awareness and commitment to inclusive design.
