Science to Impact's Golf Movement: Transforming Scientific Narratives into Impactful Stories
Science to Impact partnered with Ontwerpwerk to create a visual concept for their book series *Denkers die Doen*, focusing on impactful scientists. The design used a golf movement from illustrations to the book rhythm, symbolizing the journey of scientific knowledge. Collaborating with photographer Anne Reitsma, the team captured scientists in dynamic contexts, highlighting their roles as entrepreneurs, leaders, and impact officers. The project aimed to inspire reflection and discussion about the practical application of scientific insights. The visual design emphasized the transformation of abstract concepts into tangible stories, showcasing the power of storytelling in driving real-world impact. The print work included a soft cover with a collage of scientific inventions and a spot UV lac on the cover, reinforcing the brand's commitment to innovation and accessibility. The result was a visually compelling series that effectively communicated the value of scientific engagement and the importance of translating knowledge into action.
