Fietsersbond's Data-Driven Migration to a New Platform

Fietsersbond faced the challenge of migrating a legacy platform with 134,000 users and 100 local branches, preserving all data and content. The project involved a detailed migration plan to ensure no information was lost, while also reorganizing the site into four key categories: De Fiets, Onderweg, Fietsroutes, and Veilig Fietsen. Using customer journey insights and content architecture strategies, the new platform was designed to enhance user experience and accessibility. The result was a modern, organized site that continues to serve the 33,000 members and 1,800 volunteers effectively.
