ICTU Builds Dutch Digital Identity Wallet for EU EDI Initiative
ICTU's team worked with the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations to develop a secure digital identity wallet under the EU's European Digital Identity (EDI) initiative. The project aimed to create a European example of a trusted digital identity system, enabling citizens to access services across borders with a single secure credential. The prototype was designed to meet strict security and interoperability standards, ensuring seamless integration with EU-wide systems. The initiative marked a significant step toward universal digital identity access, demonstrating how cross-border identity solutions can be implemented in practice. The project highlighted ICTU's expertise in building scalable, secure identity platforms that support both national and EU-level governance needs.
