NS Youth Day Ticket: App-Integrated Affordable Travel

NS used a design sprint to create a ticket for young travelers, leveraging in-depth interviews and a value proposition canvas to address their needs. The result was the Youth Person’s Day Ticket, now sold via the NS app with a barcode for easy access. This affordable solution allows youth to travel at a fixed price, offering freedom and a sense of appreciation. The ticket was tested by NS and launched in September 2020, with young people able to purchase it for the first time. The initiative highlights NS’s commitment to understanding and meeting the demands of its younger audience.
