SKIL Replatforms with Hyvä and Magento: Enhanced Quality and Scalability
SKIL underwent a comprehensive quality audit on their existing Magento platform, leading to a strategic re-platforming with Hyvä to create a scalable and future-proof solution. The project involved developing a custom-designed platform with 36 dedicated stores, each tailored to regional contract terms and product assortments. This re-platforming enabled seamless integration of product data through the DWD Connector, eliminating manual XML uploads and ensuring real-time updates. The new platform offers dynamic product listings, automated reviews, and QR-coded product pages that direct users to detailed product information. Additionally, the DWD dealerlocator ensures accurate product visibility for international customers. The result is a highly efficient, scalable solution that enhances both operational accuracy and user experience.
